About Jamil

One on One coaching for Performing Artists, from those who have no experience, to seasoned actors, active in the business. Whether your goal is a single intensive session with the objective of nailing an important audition or callback, a more long term vision which may include preparing several monologues and cold reading techniques for future auditions, or a personally prepared curriculum designed especially to meet your goals, I will assist in your forward movement.

l enjoy empowering Performing Artists and helping them to reach their best portential. Having spent over 15 years with several Arts Organizations as a teaching artists, I have dedicated most of my career guiding performing artists brand themselves, audition preperation and gain confidecne in the craft of acting. As a working professional I have learned many tricks of the trade that will garner success and show sharp techniques.

Jamil A.C. Mangan has been a teaching artist for several years working for many arts organizations throughout the tri-state area. He taught Acting for Film for Big Picture Alliance (Philadelphia), an organization that teaches teens how to produce independent films. Jamil has been a teaching artist for the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Playwrights of New Jersey, Steve Adubatos Stand and Deliver and other organizations including Restore Kidz, Inc., Playwrights of Philadelphia, UARTS summer arts program and African Globe Theatreworks.

Mangan is an award winning Actor who seeks to find truth under

imaginary circumstances. He has performed on countless stages around the world and has been seen on film & television. Mangan is also the founder of Casting Actors of Color; a community dedicated to the cultivation of performance arts careers and inspiring actors towards artistic excellence.
