About Leo

With over 35 years of experience in Theatre Arts, I am a veteran in my field. I Trained at the Pacific Cnnservatory of the Performing Arts (PCPA), now named Pacific Conservatory Theatre in Santa Maria CA, where I currently am the Director of Education and a Resident Artist. I recieved a BFA in Theatre Design at Webster University in St. Louis Mo. I am a working Director, Actor, Playwright and Designer. I founded Rainbow Artist Workshops, Theatre on the Spot a Playback Company, and Team TheatreSports. My work has crossed the USA from Florida to Alaska and from New York to Pheonix Arizona. I've had plays I've written invited to the Edenbrugh Fringe Festival in Scotland and most recently was invited to present my muiscal based on Tomie dePoala's Oliver Button Is A Sissy to launch the Pride celebraitons in the North Santa Barbara County.

I have worked with young performers, as coach, instructor and mentor. The Young People's Project is under my directioin with intensive workshops for young talent ages 9 - 18. I have built workshops and classes around Intensive trianing for Acitng Singing and Dancing, as well as Audition preparation and Improviastion. The rewarding accomplishment is seeing these young talents entering actor training programs with high standards and expectaions of thier students. But the best reward is teaching them when they were 8 years old, and in the next few years to share the stage with them as peers. Several former students have grown into well developed careers that lead them to much grander acclaim, including Tony Award, Oscars and Emmys. I take no credit, only pride in thier accomplishments in hopes I had a tiny hand in showing them the possibiliites.
