About Laura
Everyone can benefit from this gentle practice, and the health benefits are numerous. Qi Gong is the ancient Chinese art of moving energy in your body. Perhaps you've seen people doing Qi Gong or Tai Chi in the park or movies. They are moving very slowly with definite,flowing moves that affect how our body feels. Qi Gong is a balance of breathing and moving at the same time and the result is relaxation and reduction in stress. You will feel Qi the very first time we meet and I will teach you how and why it's important to your life force. I've been practicing myself for 20 years and I can honestly say that learning this has been the greatest investment for myself I've ever done. I am a trained and certified Medical Qi Gong teacher with 5 years of teaching experience. I teach online privately and groups. Everyone is at a different place physically. For many, it's not easy to get up from the ground, that is why Qi Gong is great. You can practice seated in a chair, or standing. It's important to start at the beginning it may seem a little slow at first, that's just how we start, the movements progress after time.
It's best to book a strategy session so that we can see where you need help first. Perhaps you need better balance in your feet, or your posture is affecting your back and breathing. We will find a strategy together at a gentle productive pace.
