About Melissa
Hi! I'm Melissa, a recent Health Science graduate and current Occupational Therapy graduate student with a passion for science and helping others learn. I enjoy working with students of all learning styles and believe that with the right support and encouragement, everyone can build confidence in challenging subjects.
I strive to create a patient, positive, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. Whether you need help understanding a difficult concept, preparing for an exam, completing homework, or strengthening your study skills, I'm here to help.

As an Occupational Therapy graduate student with a strong background in the sciences, I believe every student can succeed with the right support and teaching approach. I focus on breaking down challenging concepts into simple, manageable steps while encouraging students to ask questions and think critically rather than just memorize information.
Each lesson is tailored to the student's individual needs and learning style. Whether we are reviewing class material, preparing for quizzes and exams, completing homework, or building a stronger foundation in science, I create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. I also incorporate practice questions, visual explanations, and study strategies to help students retain what they learn and gain confidence.
My lessons are ideal for middle school, high school, and introductory college students taking biology, anatomy and physiology, health science, or general science courses. As a recent Health Science graduate with a 4.0 GPA and current Occupational Therapy graduate student, I understand the challenges students face because I have recently mastered this material myself. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students develop the confidence and study skills they can use long after our sessions.
