Variety, using various methods of shooting a bow and arrow with both western and eastern styles of archery; more educational and valuable since both east and western archery have their advantages and disavantages

I love being able to point out finer details to people who might not think very much about little things that make a big difference; it can help a lot with the practice/training process.

I started teaching my friends in college how to shoot, I would take them to French Creek Outfitters and we would shoot at the target wall, me pointing out faults and also things they geot right with their draw and technique

Membership at Lower Providence Rod and Gun Club, and studying archery such as Gao Ying teachings and Saracen Archery as well as western archery.

About the lesson

I'd prefer to ask the student what they already know (or THINK they know) about archery and then build up from there. A lot of times though, even in my own practice, it's been "forget what you think you know, you need a new approach so you don't hurt yourself."

Mostly college students, around my age, however I'm open to expand

Be open to variety, multiple methods of shooting because there's no universal method. There's plenty of styles that use the left and/or the right side of the bow, each with their own advantages and disadvantages, which I'm happy to explain during a lesson especially through demonstration since I myself am a visual learner.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think about patience because archery isn't something you just learn overnight, speaking from experience. It takes a while for things to become muscle memory, especially when self-taught as opposed to working with others (both of which I have). It takes plenty of practice but when you have someone explain the details to you it can be more easily applied. So think about the reason you want to learn archery in the first place. For myself and other people it's a martial art, not just pointing an arrow at a target board

Details

For now I would say $10 for an hour-long-straight lesson, 15 for an hour and a half and so on. I want to encourage variety and make the lessons engaging.
