About Olivia
My sercives stand out as I have been in academic studies for seven years. I devoted those years to deep research about various subjects in art and history. I developed my writing and research skills to enhance my theories and drive my topics to their best fruition. I didn't stop until I felt satisfied with my results and the detail in my work.
I have a passion in exploring time periods through the costuming, props, and the zeitgeists that define them. It a wonder to bring these past times to life in a relevant way for modern audiences.
I first was a tutor when I was very young to my siblings (all ten of them!!) Next, I moved onto highschool where I tutored many students in all topics after school. Once I went into undergrad and graduate school, I was able to volunteer my time to help students in need of boosting their grades to pass difficult college courses.
As to the specific roles I can tutor my students in, I recieved my BS in FILM/TV production from St. John's University in Queens, NY and my MFA in Prodcution Design from the Academy of Art University in San Fransisco, CA. I have extensive expereince in essay writting and research papers. I took several courses in history and culture, as I had to study to correlate the significance of historical events to artistic movements.

I like to first educate myself about a preferred learning style. I then like to learn more about the education background and the goals of my student. Lastly, I am a huge contender of research and providing multiple scholarly sources to enhance awareness and enable my student to become well-rounded in their topic.
