About Jordan

7-Ball hitting is a mindset, not just a mechanical system. We take in current baseball players of all levels and ages and teach them an approach at the plate that will improve their overall presence, sharpen the tools they already possess, and put them in position's to be a consistent ballplayer if they choose to remain disciplined and committed. 7-Ball breeds confidence in the midst of the everyday battle's that a hitter takes on the moment he or she digs in the box.

After retiring from the game, I have received a calling to take all of the knowledge and education from my experience at the level that I was fortunate enough to play at and teach young upcoming players the do's and don'ts to hopefully direct them down the right path to becoming successful as well.

I played Division 1 baseball for West Virginia University and High Point University. Also, I was fortunate to lay for the 2013 State Championship Atlantic Shores Seahawks during my high school career. I was personally mentored by Alfredo Portela as a hitter and have cultivated an outline of my training program from the countless hours we spent together as coach and player

About the lesson

A typical day as my student consists of lessons and drills used in my very own playing career at the Division 1 level as well as one's passed down to me from Division 1/professional contacts that have been made throughout my career. Each lesson and drill is strategically placed within a program that will cause progression in the Ballplayer to move at a rapid pace if committed 100%

I have worked with all types from young and inexperienced to high school seniors looking to sign with a college program.

Look for a teacher who has the background and experience that brings credibility to the table. If they were ballplayers in their past life then they should understand how to direct current players down a path that can hopefully bring them success as well as relate to those players by speaking the language and helping them in situations that they may have experience themselves.

I am very fond of the events I have been able to coach in with the Virginia BlackSox organization that has given me the experience to work with ballplayers of all ages.
