About Ryan

Apologies to all players who have contacted me and have gotten no reply. I have been out of town and unable to give lessons. I have started to accept lesson requests as of April 12th and will be available throughout the spring, summer, fall and winter. Please feel free to reconnect.

I am a 12 year major league veteran catcher. I played for the cincinnati reds from (02' to 15') Tampa bay rays (14')Boston Red Sox (15' 16') colorado Rockies (17')

I have been to the playoffs 5 times and have caught to 2 no hitters. My experience with pitchers and hitters at the highest level can't be replicated and I am looking to help New England players reach their goals and dreams in baseball.

I have connections with college coaches, summer ball teams and major league scouts and teams. Looking to provide support to hard working talented players.

I am helping young players learn the advanced concepts of the game as well as provide a template for training and improvement. Teaching the best practices and intilling muscle memory so a player can reach their full potential.

I very much enjoy helping New Englad baseball and softball players learn the game to help advance life skills. Giving back and watching players improve is fulfilling for me. I had help along the way and so I am looking to give back some of the knowledge I have gained during my experience in basball.

10+ years in the majors where I often was ranked in the top 5 in my position defensively across the league.

About the lesson

I evaluate each of them on a one on one basis to better assess their strengths and weaknesses and then design a program and regimen that will apply directly to their i social talents. Too many coaches teach a one size fits all program, and that leads to little success for the majority of athletes.

From middle schoolers and high school freshman to drafted college players.

Look for a coach who has had real success in the majors. We're few and far between.

MLB had me work with and assess their New England talent at a recent workout at Fenway.
