About Jon

Ex. Division 1 and Independent Professional baseball player. Have played and can teach every position of the game. Went to College as a shortstop/pitcher and went through college and beyond as a utility player. Expertise in the ability to break down any hitters swing and mold them into a more confident, consistent threat. Everyone has a different body type and different swing which fits them. Very few coaches can understand this and even fewer have the ability to make those players better with changing very few things.

Nothing is better than knowing you can make someone better through passing on knowledge and instilling the passion for the game in each player I work with.

Started training younger players back in 2010 when I was still playing in college and it stuck ever since.

Learned the game of baseball through some of the most prestigious College coaches and players that have ever been around the Philadelphia area. Was a 4 year high school starter including player of the year in a AAAA league with some of the most dominant schools in the region. Received a full ride scholarship for college where I went to become a 4 year starter, 4x Atlantic 10 player of the week, 2x Big 5 position player of the year.

Notable Honors:

4x Atlantic 10 player of the week

2x Big 5 position player of the year

2nd in NCAA with a 63 game on base streak 2010-2011

1 of 10 players in NCAA to hit for the cycle in 2010

Tied most all time for doubles in a single season at LaSalle University

About the lesson

The first step is always the evaluation stage and seeing what each individual needs to get better at. Everyone has something different to improve and a great coach knows that and knows how to cater each lesson to the student.

I've worked with Baseball and Softball players from age 5-21.

Make sure you ask the coach questions about the game to see their knowledge of the game and also make sure you can work with their personality. Lessons should be challenging but also fun as practice can get repetitive and stagnant.
