About Scott

I am the head baseball coach at Omaha Burke. I enjoy working with aspiring student athletes who want to improve their skill set.

Will work with kids of all ages and skill sets pitching, hitting, infield play and velocity training

This is my 26th year coaching baseball, of which 22 in the Omaha area (Burke / Central / Ralston). In 2018, our Omaha Burke squad meet in Millard West or the American Legion state title. Over the last 22 years I've been fortunate enough To help a lot of our guys get to the next level, including 22 the last three years.

Helping players with their overall development to help them achieve success at whatever level they are playing at.

I've been a teacher for 23 years (Phys Ed 9-12)

Head coach Omaha Burke (11-present)

Head coach Omaha Central (99-06)

About the lesson

It's important for all teachers to get to know the students they are working with I order for them to believe in what they are teaching.

1 model doesn't fit all, just as there isnt 1 way to hit. I will incorporate drills to enhance their skill set but not before I get an understanding of how

Mostly high school ages students, however have had plenty of experience working younger players coaching my son, his teams and working youth camps

Find someone who is invested in you as a person and athlete

whomever you hire, has to be someone your son can trust.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What is their ultimate goal

what are their strength and weeknesses
