About Erika
I have an extremem passion for basketball and I would like to help build your child to be the best in the game for future potental opportunities. I played 4 years of high school basketball and was captain for 2 years. I want to help your child get physically and mentally strong and healthy.
Basketball is a fun sport. I involves tough cardio, and thinking. I know there are multiple opportunities out there for athletic students and i would like be the first steps to having your child obtain all of those opportunities.
I got started teaching with my 11 and 7 year old cousins. They enjoy their time and hustled hard.
I had multiple high school coaches thoughout my four years of high school and each had a life changing experience for me. I hope to be just like them and pass down the love for basketball.

Having a bond with the student is important. my greatest mentors were my coaches and i want to connect with the student to where the could count on m ewith everything related to the sport or life. Connection is key to lovinf the sport and succeeding.
I have worked with 11-9 year old girls.
My advise is to watch basketball games. Eiter the NBA or WNBA or your local courts with people playing. And observe their execution. But mainly have fun.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Before getting started with teachers, have a basic idea of what is basketball. Look up the rules, and positions you would like to work in. Especailly, watch basketball games adn observe the moves and plays. Just enjoy yourself.
