About Shagun
I love teaching, and find the greatest satisfaction in explaining things I myself found difficult to understand.
all the students I've taught have so far done exceptionally well in their classes, not only because I can help them understand, rather I can encourage them to work smarter!
By accident! I taught a class as a favor to a friend until they found a more permanent teacher and the kids reached out to me afterwards!
I have studied zoology in college. And have taught highschool students from grades 9 to 12 since 2017 in a classroom environment as well as one on one! Lately we've all been switching to online modes of learning, and I find it to be a rewarding experience nonetheless!

I allow students to take three classes in order to recognize the best course of action with respect to their learning process as well as my teaching process. I like to clear up the very basic concepts or the fundamentals of biology. I also like to take a small quiz after the third class in order to see how well what I'm teaching is being retained by my students!
I have worked with a variety of highschool kids, and give a lot of importance to individual attention! Everybody learns at their own pace, and I'm willing to do what it takes to help my students learn.
Trust you intuition. The first few classes will reveal all. Go in with an open mind but don't be afraid to think about whether the lesson is benefiting you. Ask your teacher questions you genuinely have. And tell them how they can teach you better!

I generally charge per class. In a subject like biology everybody learns differently! So this way students may tailor their learning experience without it being financially daunting. I charge $10 an hour/per class!
