TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN REFERENCE FOR COLIN DONNELLY FROM VICTORIA WHITE CHAIR OF OPEN SPECTRUM AUTISTIC ACTIVITIES GROUP 21/3/2019 Colin Donnelly worked with the South Dublin activities group Open Spectrum for three years from 2015 to 2018. With us, he ran weekly outdoor exercise sessions in a public park encouraging groups of autistic children and teens to run, jump, etc in nature. He also organized cycling sessions which resulted in several ASD children learning to cycle in the same public park. He ran several holiday “camps” in public parks, taking groups out daily for running and jumping activities on mornings during school holidays. He founded and ran the first athletics club in Ireland for ASD children and teens, Rainbow Warriors which ran in Irishtown Stadium, a public facility, and encouraged ASD kids and teens to run, jump, hurdle, etc in a professional-level facility. He ran a sports and games day in this facility in the summer. Colin was a very inspiring coach and extremely patient. He was punctual and mannerly at all times.
