About Katie

Hello my name is Katie Buda I have been cheering for 12 years in school and allstar. I am currently a coach at a D1 school going on my 4th year of coaching! While at this school I have managed to get this team to 3rd in the state of Ohio and the best cheerleading school in Stark County. I am passionate about cheerleading and want to teach everyone about it! I work with all ages and have experience with all levels of cheerleading. No prior knowledge of cheerleading is necessary you just show up and I will teach you the rest! Lets work together and get your cheer career started today!

I got started coaching one year after being out of high school. I also have loved cheer and watching kids fall in love with the sport and really grow in it.

I have all coaching certifications up to date. I also have concussion and cpr certifications.

About the lesson

First I will evaluate the level of cheerleading you are at. We will go through skills such as motions, jumps, and tumbling. After watching these skills we will discuss what you want out of my lessons. This could be things such as cleaning up motions, learning how to do jumps, or learning new tumbling passes.

ALL ages! From 6 to all the way up to college level!

I would say make sure they are a good match for you! This is your cheer experience and your growth is the most important. Making sure to find an instructor that meets your needs from day one is important.

One of my favorite coaching memories is my first year of coaching breaking the streak of not going to state for 15 years. Now we are 3rd in the non-building D1 division in the state of ohio along with the best cheer school in Stark County!
