I was a premed major for most of my college career. I fell in love with teaching during my gap year prepping for my MCAT. As the son of a doctor who has seen the impact medicine can have on someone's life, I would say the only thing that has come close to having the same impact is teaching and seeing my students succeed and grow. He knows exactly how to connect with and motivate all different kinds of students and learners. Personally, he helped me to further develop my scientific knowledge and inquiry skills, along with inspiring me to truly appreciate and enjoy what I was learning through his clear passion for the subjects he teaches. Mr. DeRose prepared me for an AP exam where I went from completely confused to earning a 4, all in two months.
