I have been a professional Chess player for 20 years and then I realized that I have a big heart and passion on sharing, that's when I started my own Chess school to be able to reach out to students to improve their game or to introduce our game to them.
I am a Chess International Grandmaster, the highest title one can achieve by playing Chess. I am also a certified US coach and have 10 years of teaching experience.

So on our first meeting I will be playing against the student or I will ask a student to play 1 game over the internet. This is to check the student's level of play so I can give the appropriate lesson moving forward.
I have worked with students of all level before from complete beginners to master level. I have worked with people as young as 4 years old until 89!
Look for a company of teachers who are certified and with proper credentials and experience. There's a lot of instructors out there that will tell you they know what to do and your child will improve. We promise improvement as long as we build the proper "triangle method".
Even when we swtiched to online classes due to the pandemic, Chess never fails to amaze me that students still love learning and playing the game and I whole-heartedly enjoy sharing my knowledge to the students.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Goals! The student or the parent should have a goal first, talk it out with the instructor and come up with a plan. A goal without a plan is just a wish!

Details
Due to the pandemic, I switched my lessons to online and have adjusted my rate. I currently charge $80 for an hour of Chess lesson, with 4-pack and 8-pack options with a small discount. I own a Chess school with different instructors and we try to match the student also with an appropriate coach depending on level and way of teaching.
