About Stefan
I grew up in Taiwan and came to U.S. after graduated from high school. I spent 6 years working at a tech company in China and also worked as an interpreter for Microsoft Executives.

1. Ask students or parents about their specific goals (conversational, writing, reading, etc.) of learning Chinese.
2. What does the student like to do for recreation.
3. A simple exam to see what chinese teaching materials will be most suitable for the student.
I have worked with students from age 8 - 22.
What makes a tutor good is how he/she is able to create an environment to student to want to learn, so have a 20 minute casual conversation with the person before commiting to the teacher.

He is passionate about teaching and always patient with repeated questions. He sometimes throws in a pop quiz and will carefully review the questions that I got wrong with me, just to make sure I understand it before moving to the next chapter.
