About Jeff

I teach cooking, baking, bartending, cocktails, bread making, fermentation, canning, vinegar making, wine and beverage pairing.

I focus on simple ingredients with fresh, big flavors. Simple no nonsense cooking methods and heritage cooking styles. I believe in teaching you to uses all your senses... Feeling, touching, texture, scent, aromas, smell, taste, sight in creating wonderful nutritional foods for yourself and your family and friends.

I teach all levels and methods of caring and creqtcre foods. From quick meals to bread making to preserving, freezing, drying and fermentation.

I have a degree in culinary arts and 20 plus years restaurant experience. I was raised by frugal and highly skilled parents who raised everything we ate. I was raised working in the garden, feeding animals, collecting eggs and picking fruits. Number 8 of 10 kids with lots of cousins and other extended family. We all worked, cooked and ate together. I share those experiences and skills and techniques along with those culinary skills I learned in school and work.

I love every part of showing my love for those around me through amazing foods.

I am an avid wild yeast bread maker. Love sharing my knowledge. I have a love and passion for healthy cooking ingredients with amazing flavors and easy and stress free cooking and baking.

20 plus years restaurant experience in greek, italIta, french and Southern.

About the lesson

I like to get to know a bit about the students understanding and skill sets before I start. Once I think I get what level of cooking or baking skills then I talk about menu and what the students hope to accomplish.

Then I make a list and we schedule a time time and start learning.
