About Laura
I work with teens, the elderly and special needs clients. We keep it simple and have a lot of fun. I have been cooking since I was a young girl and love it. I cook everything from Italian to Asian to Mexican. Very healthy to very decadent upon request. Coming back from a chronic illness I got well through my knowledge of food, healthy cooking with organic foods and lots experimenting with all kinds of cool recipes. I love my sweet treats so learned how to make healthy yet decadent desserts as well. I love planning menus and shopping for the best ingredients. I enjoy preparing food for my clients that helps them stay on target with their personal programs and lifestyle.
My cooking education started in my mothers kitchen. Both parents cooked from scratch so I was very fortunate. My mother was an expert in Italian food and my father an expert in Mexican food. They traded recipes and taught me all their secrets. I have a special-needs brother that I prepare meals for as well as an elderly father. I went through a chronic illness for 10 years and during that time studied online courses in nutrition and health. I cooked myself back to health and have taught many others the same. I have been cooking for over 30 years.

I work with teens, the elderly and special-needs clients. I also work with the very health-conscious who love to eat well without sacrificing flavor.
