About Samantha

Samantha helps YOU to develop your unique bellydance persona. With great music and extensive teaching experience, she will guide you to achieve grace, skill and beauty in you dance.

Many of Samantha's students have become professional belly dancers. There are numerous performance opportunities for you when you're ready.

Samantha teaches at Northwestern University, she started teaching MiddleEastern Dance at Belle Plaine Studio in 1995 and has taught at studios, park districts, company programs, seminars and more. Check out her website (concealed information) (concealed information)

Belly Dancing is my passion, I've danced professionally for many years and taught many students. Classes are fun, and you will see progress quickly in skill, better posture and coordination, grace and poise.

I starting teaching when my wonderful teacher and mentor, Natasha, hurt her ankle and asked me to sub.

After teaching her classes, I found I enjoyed it and started my own classes at Belle Plaine Studio and Bally Total Fitnes.

Belly Dancing brings such joy. When I start to dance all my troubles disappear - and yours will too!

I have extensive dance training, 7 years of ballet, 2 years modern and many years of belly dance classes and workshops with some of the greatest teachers.

About the lesson

I like to find out about new student's previous dance experience and goals. We warm up and start moving so I can gage the student's starting level and determine what skills need focus for development and what delights them.

We build from success to accomplishment.

I've worked with students from all over the world, young and old, all skill levels
