About Jessica

I have been dancing for 26 years and teaching for 18. I feel that dance is such a beautiful art and I desire to help make it accessible to anyone who wants to learn! Everyone learns differently and I strive to instruct each individual based on their needs and style of learning. My passion for teaching movement includes...

Lyrical, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Ballroom (Wedding Dances), Yoga and Barre.

I have worked for many dance companies around the country and was also a Vegas finalist for the TV show, So You Think You Can Dance, in 2009. I am a 200hr RYT and a certified barre instructor.

I started traveling around the country when I was 16 with a professional choreographer. I began teaching at my home studio in TX and have been teaching ever since.

I have been dancing/training for 26 years. I have obtained additional certifications in Yoga, Barre and Zumba.

About the lesson

I like to discuss goals with a student at the initial meeting. After that, we make a game plan to determine how to achieve those goals. This could consist of what we will work on each week and/or how many times a week we should meet.

I have worked with students of all ages. From 4-60.

It is very helpful to be in a studio setting. Sometimes this requires a little more payment because of rental fees, but it makes it special...as if you were going to class.

I would also recommend having a good idea of what you are looking to learn so we can really tailor the lessons to you.

I was the head coach for Summit County's Dancing with the Mountain Stars event for the past 3 years. I taught local business owners with little to no experience and got them performance ready!
