About Patrice

We offer excellent and complete instruction in Dance (Ballet/Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop), Voice (Singing), Acting and Musical Theatre. We develop students artistically, technically and aesthetically through expert training in a nurturing evironment since 2006. We have an in-house Dance and Acting Company that perform in local theatres for those that want performance opportunities beyond our yearly studio-wide collage concert.

I enjoy helping to nurture the growth in students that we see improving weekly! It's very rewarding to further the arts in our society and it's very important for our culture as a whole.

I have been teaching for many years. First, through a company I started in California called "Discoveries in Dance" when my children were small, and later in directing at local schools and professional theatre and summer music conservatories. I started my studio in 2006 and teach all ages and levels.

Founding Director has a B.F.A. in Music Theatre/Dance from University of Michigan with additional training in New York and Los Angeles from many professional teachers. Please see faculty bios on website: (concealed information)

About the lesson

We evaluate each student's goals and levels before placing them in the appropriate classes. We have instruction for ages 3 1/2 years to senior citizens in all levels.

All ages and levels and students from all over the world including USA, Chile, Bolivia, China, Brazil, South Korea, Japan, Russia, Israel, Turkey, Portugal and many others

Look for experience in teaching and careers; there are a lot of teachers that never went beyond their training at the local community college or high school, or have never trained at all and don't understand/aren't aware of proper placement for the body in dance techniques. Without proper training, injuries will occur and many times can be very serious. Anatomical damage can happen in children (knee/hip damage) flexibility can be forced (muscle, tendons, bones), inappropriate movements for beginners, etc.

We have a dance and acting company and we are very proud of the original choreography and original pieces we create every year, in addition to our other studio shows all year long.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Articulate clearly to yourself and the teacher what exactly you are looking for and realize fully that exercise takes effort and it won't always be "fun" but it will be (eventually) extremely rewarding! Success does not happen overnight. However, you will exercise your brain along with your body and over time you will see amazing and wonderful changes in your strength and abilities!

$13 per person for 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes group lesson

Private lessons by appointment

$30 private voice lessons 30 minutes once a week

$40-$50 private lessons for dance, acting, collegiate or other coaching
