About Lisa

Professional level ballet training for intermediate/advanced students. Structured fun ballet/tap lessons for beginners. Classical Jazz for 8 year olds and up. Fantastic adult ballet classes for everyone!

We love passing on what George Balachine taught us while we danced in his company the New York City Ballet. We thoroughly enjoy children and seeing their passions grow.

Retired from dancing with the New york City Ballet and wanted to pass on our knowledge and experiences to future generations.

Both of us (husband & wife) have cumulatively 35 years dancing professionally with the New York City Ballet.

Eight years working with young chidren at a dance school in New Jersey.

About the lesson

Depending on age we either put them into an age appropriate class or we let them take a free trial class so we can evaluate where they would best fit into our school.

We have worked with all types of students.

Start at a professional school as children get attached to one place and later when they get older and want to continue dancing it will be very hard for them to change schools. We get this situation all the time. Older children are looking to improve their dancing skills but cannot keep up with their age group when they come to us. Also look for a very well run business side to the school.

We love putting on our annual production of the "Nutcracker" every year at the Bardavon Opera House. Our students absolutely adore this production and talk to us about it for years after they have graduated our school as one of the most important things in their lives growing up. Next to that we love producing our spring recital which is also a favorite with our kids.
