About Anthony

I am a a New York-based educator and performing artist. After performing various musical productions, I began my formal dance training in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, contemporary, hip hop and musical theatre techniques at the age of 14. I am a graduate of Muhlenberg College, where I received a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre and Dance. Some of my favorite performance credits include “Shrek: The Musical” and “Jersey Boys” at the Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre, “Elf” at the Surflight Theatre, and works choreographed by Chet Walker (Jacob’s Pillow), Tiffany Mills, Shapiro & Smith, and Shelley Oliver.

In addition to performing, I am a passionate performing arts educator, choreographer, and director. I worked with KJK Productions for 10 years as a musical theatre teaching artist, director, and choreographer, and have had work featured with Jazz Choreography Enterprises and at Triskelion Arts in Brooklyn, New York. Currently, I teach musical theatre and dance classes in Manhattan to children of all ages. As an educator, I create a safe, encouraging space for students that prioritizes community and collaboration. I challenge students to exceed expectations of their own physical and emotional craft, cultivates discipline and focus, and inspires joy in the celebration of our identities, artistry, and humanity.

Lessons are priced based on duration, subject, and in-person or virtual.

I received my BA in Theatre and Dance from Muhlenberg College in 2018. Additionally, I trained in Physical Theatre at the Accademia dell'Arte in Arrezzo, Italy in the spring of 2017 and attended the Musical Theatre Dance Program at The School at Jacob's Pillow in Summer 2018. I continue to train by taking dance classes at Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center, as well as voice lessons and acting classes.

About the lesson

I like to start with an initial session to assess current skills and future goals to make sure that we are the correct fit for one aother.

I have worked with students of all ages, from novice performers to professionals!
