About Kelsea

Soles On Fire Dance Academy is a place for students of all ages to come and experience what dance is all about! We strive for excellence and want to fuel your passion for dance! Whether you've been dancing for years or are just starting out, we want to help you find your favorite style and start fueling your passion!

I started teaching at the age of 15. I would occasionally student teach for the 3-5 year olds, Level I and Level II classes when teachers were unable to teach their own classes due to personal reasons. During this time, I started working with a group of students from my K-12 private school. They wanted to compete with a Hip Hop number at an upcoming comeptition, from this day forward, I worked with these students for the next three years until I graduated high school. Since graduating high school, I have continued to teach both indivuadual and group classes. Recently, my husband and I have opened our own dance studio.

I have been training since the age of 9. I started in Celebration, FL at The Dance Experience for 2 years and transferred to Raskin Dance Studio in Kissimmee, FL. Over the years I have competed and performed in multiple dance competitions and shows. I have trained with many different teachers from Adrenaline Dance Convention, NYCDA, JUMP Dance Convention, 24/7 Dance, and taken class from Debbie Allen. I started teaching at the age of 15, and my first students competed a Hip Hop numbers and won first place overall, 3 years in a row. Since then, I have competed and taken students to competition and won first place overall, second place overall, and top ten awards.

About the lesson

Typically, I will evaluate which level you should be placed in for classes based on, technique and musicality. Once I have determined which level you are, if you plan to take weekly classes at my studio I will place you in classes that suit your level and the style you wish to take.

I have worked with students ages 3 through adult.

If you are looking for a teacher, make sure they are someone you feel you connect well with. Also, if you are currently at another dance studio or being trained by another teacher, but feel as if you are not reaching your full potential with them, I would look into learning from a new teacher.

An event that my studio, Soles On Fire Dance Academy was recently apart of is the Metro Atlanta Domestic Violence Conference. Recently, we performed in this event to help raise awareness for Domestic Violence.

Since you are the one taking class, make sure you think about what you would like to get out of each class. How much would you like to learn in a class? Are you willing to push yourself to your fullest potential? How do you learn best, visually or vocally?

My pricing for private lessons is as follows:

30 Minutes - $30

1 Hour - $50

1.5 Hours - $80

**PAYMENT IS DUE AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH PRIVATE LESSON**

My pricing for monthly classes is as follows:

Drop-In Class $12 (payment due at the door)

1 Class per week at $45 per month.

2 Classes per week at $85 per month.

3 Classes per week at $130 per month.

4 Classes per week at $170 per month.

5 Classes per week at $200 per month (SPECIAL).

6 Classes per week at $250 per month (SPECIAL).

7 – Unlimited Classes per week at $300 per month.

**PAYMENT IS DUE THE FIRST WEEK OF EVERY MONTH**

IF PAYMENT IS LATE THERE WILL BE A $10 FEE FOR EACH WEEK IT IS LATE.

$25 REGISTRATION FEE DUE AT SIGN UP
