About Kayley

I have been dancing for 26 years. I teach most dance genres and have 10 years of teaching experience altogether. I have a AA-FA in Dance from GCC, and a BFA in Dance Education from GCU and have my own dance company ClassicalFusionDance. I also currently teach in person and online lyrical/contemporary, tap, jazz, ballet, musical theater, hip hop in Peoria, Scottsdale, and Phoenix, AZ.

Seeing the growth and progress in my students in learning new things. Dance can be both therapeutic and for fitness and well being, and I try to focus on both areas in my lessons.

I have an Associates in Arts-Dance from Glendale Community College, and a BFA in Dance Education from Grand Canyon University with a semester of teaching high school dance classes in 2015. I was trained at Royal Dance Works for 13 years, and have been a dancer for 26 years. I started teaching in 2008 as a substitute at Royal Dance Works, then decided to become a full time teacher in 2012. I have worked at Elite Dance Academy (2013-2020), Dance Fusion (2019-present), Sunago Dance (2012-2013), and Limitless Dance (current) and have taught Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, technique, and line dancing. I also teach online dance classes over zoom.

About the lesson

I usually have a class where I see where they are at technique wise, as well as asking how much experience they have prior to the 1st lesson. From there we set their goals, and I also plan for what I think they can achieve in addition to that. I want them to be gain as much as they can from my teaching and choreography.

I have worked with students ranging from 2 1/2 to 90! Whatever type of student you are and what needs you have, I can work with you!
