About Sarah Noel

Our primary focus is classical ballet, with opportunity in other genres like modern, contemporary, jazz and tap, allowing students to be strong classical dancers and well rounded for any dance environment or situation.

I love seeing the growth and progress of artistry and technique in each student, and the joy and confidence that grows from that, all while carrying on the beautiful tradition of the art of classical dance.

Our technique is primarily Cecchetti based with study of other widely used method such as the Vaganov method.

I have been teaching and working in the dance community for 25+ years.

About the lesson

New students are invited to take a class at Centre Ballet for evaluation and placement, especially those students who have previous dance training.

Students are placed in classes according to both age and ability.

I have worked with students from 3 years of age+. I have also worked in many diverse environments from private studios to public schools, to community theatre and seniors, to name a few.

Always examine the credentials of your instructors, especially look for a strong ballet background in their training and focus...the importance of that in their philosophy. If not offered, ask to take a class or two to get a feel for the environment and tone of the studio.
