About Adriana
First of all please call me instead of contacting me through this website.
At Adriana's Art Academy I provide personalized, individual attention to each artist. I help them build confidence and nurture an "artist's eye" through teaching with the belief that each artist is a person with unique techniques, styles and capabilities. My role as an art instructor is to help each artist develop individual expression. I provide my students (child - adult) with professional grade materials and tools, encouraging them to create masterful works of art.

I enjoy watching each artist express themselves in their unique ways. I love watching growth and confidence grow, as well as being able to provide deeper exploration.
I have always been inspired by teaching, but art is my life! Some friends wanted to learn how to paint and draw so I invited them over, soon I was getting more friends and more friends of friends and it has just snowballed!
Adriana Diaz had a childhood filled with many artistic influences; she roamed through Monet's Garden, and spent whole afternoons recreating the work of Master Painters in the Louvre. Adriana started formally taking art classes when she was 12 years old under the mentorship of national award winning artist Patricia McMahon Rice. She is currently enrolled at Full Sail University studying Graphic design. Her passions include her family, and art of all forms, but especially oil painting and watercolor. Adriana loves to create and fill the world with a more beautiful and honest perspective.

I accept students of all skill levels. Art is individual and so I provide individualized attention to each artists. Each artist works on their own unique picture, with access to a variety of professional art mediums.
I have worked with Children, teenagers, adults, and elderly of all experience levels!
I am super excited to attend tha AIGA Design Conference this spring and learn more about current art trends, materials, tech, and concepts!

I loved Adriana's Art Academy. I didn't think I could ever paint with oils, but Adriana inspired me to feel confident in what I was painting and seeing beyond what the natural eye could see. I would recommend anyone wanting to take a class from Adriana to do so.
I loved that Adriana let me decide what I wanted to learn and helped me work on the project I wanted to do. I wanted to illustrate children’s books that I wrote and didn’t know where to begin. She made it easy to get started and helped me with a lot of one on one teaching as I went along. She gave me skills in watercolor painting when I didn’t have a clue what I was doing.
