About Nicole

I'm driven by the "Aha" moment in a student's eyes. Art is my obsession and I want to share it with you. Anyone can draw, it's all about learning how to see.

Nicole is a life-long artist, having attended private university as well as dozens of individualized art classes, spanning many subjects. She is a well rounded artist, able to recreate any style but has a personal interest in dark, real/surreal and psychedelic styles. Nicole also possessed a soft spot for calligraphy, landscapes and botany illustrations. She has been featured in art galleries in Arizona and was published in Virginia. She has experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Corel Painter, and Procreate. Traditional mediums include (but not limited to): charcoal, pencils, marker, pen/ink, watercolor, guache, acrylic, clays, mixed media, found objects and more.

Let's make your imagination real.

I wanted an excuse to talk about drawing more. My husband doesn't have a creative bone in his body (bless his heart) and I want to spread my excitement and teach others about how much fun it is to watch yourself develop more.

I've taught others throughout the years as a passion project, but recent life events have propelled me to make a career from my creativity.

I have accumulated 20+ years of fine art skills, attended a private university in California and finished classes all over the country.

About the lesson

An initial video consultation will start the process. Where are you beginning your artistic journey? Where do you want to go? From here, a personalized lesson plan will be constructed that includes technical learning and observation, skill development/practice and projects to be worked on in-between sessions. Constructive feedback is given to you in the way you learn best. I also make myself immediately available through video chat and text to long term students to offer help and feedback at any time during regular business hours. I offer this service freely because I want to see you succeed in your journey.

Looking for a general, one-time class for fun? AWESOME! We love those too! Leading a group paint-and-sip, or giving your kids something new to do during zoom-school is fun for me as well. The possibilities are numerous.

Childrens, tweens and adults.

Look at your teacher's art style and learn from one that has a style that inspires you. Why? You'll pick up so much more and will be propelled in the direction you want to go in. They will have subconscious influence over how they teach you and it's important for you to be molded the way you want to be.

My sister-in-law has an art night every Friday where everyone gathers around the table to work on whatever project they want. We all bring supplies and it's just a serenely, wholesome experiemce every week.

Details

Prices vary depending on the services and number of classes required. I have an hourly rate starting at $20 for classes up to 3 sessions, including set up. I recommend at least a two-three hour session to truly get into the meat of the adventure. Longer lessons plans will be charged at a flat rate as a bulk deal to save you money.
