About the lesson

The first lesson will be a lesson for 1 hour to explore the student's needs, discuss student's short term goals and also larger aims , depending on the student's age. I create a relaxed environment allowing each student to express their concerns in areas they are not self assured and work together on a quick task that will enhance the student's confidence immediately. I will outline my plan for future lessons to achieve the students short term goal for success in the current marking period, school year or other metric. each lesson can include a 'wrap-up' with a parent(s). I am proficient in reviewing special education PPE plans.

I have worked tutoring core academic subjects with students age 6-16 . I am talented and enjoy teaching students who 'learn differently'. I have taught and teach art to students in elementary, sceondary, adults and adults in the senior assisted living settings. I have current training in all areas of health and safety for all age groups including CPR and CPI.

I was chosen "Person of The Week' in Oct 2021 representing the Branford Arts and Cultural Allaince as a board member and co-chair of a scholarship fundraiser during the 2020 Covid pandemic that netted $19,000 for Branford High Schools Arts .
