About Chanda
I am a licensed elementary teacher. My educational background includes illustration, fine art, graphic design, psychology and teaching. I’ve worked as a graphic designer and illustrator, and experience working with children although I am happy to teach all ages. I work in pencil, pen and ink, watercolor and oil paints and my style is realism. I believe anyone who wants to learn to draw and paint can do so with a little guidance. I love watching people learn new things. It’s energizing to be a part of that process.
I have a Masters if Arts in Teaching with Elementary Endorsement. I have formal training in drawing, painting, illustration and design and work experience in both visual arts and teaching children.

I like to get to know their goals so I can tailor lessons specific to them. I also like to see what they are currently working on to evaluate their current skill level. I can then create a series of lessons to reach those goals.
Children in Preschool through 5th grade, but I’m happy to teach anyone regardless of age who is excited to improve their art skills.
