About RaDonna
My name is RaDonna, I am an artist and teacher in drawing and oil painting. I have been drawing and painting for over 10 years now and have had the pleasure of working with students of all ages and abilities.
I have a passion for art and teaching others how to express themselves through art. I believe that art can be a powerful tool in helping people explore their creativity and express their innermost emotions. I strive to create an environment that is both supportive and challenging, encouraging my students to take risks and explore their potential.
I specialize in drawing and oil painting, but also have experience in a variety of other mediums such as charcoal, pastels, and acrylics, mixed media. My classes range from basic to advanced and include still life, landscapes, portraits, and abstracts. I also offer classes in color theory and design.
I believe that a great teacher should be a mentor and facilitator, helping to guide students to success. I strive to create an atmosphere that encourages creativity and learning, and I believe that my students should feel free to ask questions and push themselves to their full potential.
In addition to teaching, I also have a personal enjoy the psychology of art as therapy. I have exhibited my work in galleries have received my education at Metropolitan State College of Denver and I continue taking courses in order to stay current on the latest techniques and materials. My artwork has been featured in magazines and newspapers, as well as in several books.
I am dedicated to helping others explore their creativity and achieve their artistic goals. I am passionate about teaching and helping my students become the best artists they can be.
