About Tami

Hi!

My name is Tami and I have been an artist for many years. Over the last few years, I started teaching art to children from age 12 and up.

I love art and since I don't have children of my own I want to share what I have learned with the next generation. I break everything down so anyone can draw or paint. I also do group sip & paint gatherings at my place or yours. All supplies included.

This is my passion and enjoys everything there is on art.

I enjoy watching as my students start to see things come together in understanding how it's done. THEN see how proud they are of their finished piece. My online classes are credited for homeschoolers.

I am now located near Charleston WV.

My father did some drawing, but from as long as I can remember I have always been in art of so.e form. I was taught how to use charcoal at a very young age, 6 or 7, by my father. It just in my blood.

I have a Assoc. Degree in art. Where I learn the basic of the arts to doing what I do today. A few years ago I went back to college to get my BA by taking Anime class and more art class in drawing and painting.

Today I am a computer graphic designer and a teacher at a small local art school in my area.

About the lesson

I introduce the materials we will be using and to use them. Next, we would work on some practice samples of how to use the tools and make sure they understand this process. Once we cover the basics then we would proceed onto the project.

I have/do work with grade/high school students. I also will be teaching for home schoolers over the next few months.

Like in anything you have to practice. Each time you step up to a new piece of art, you get a little bit better. Just keep drawing/painting.
