About Maureen

I teach bi- weekly art classes, private lessons and have mixed media art parties. I have over 22 years of experience.

After earning my teaching degree from Kutztown University I taught elementary art for 9 years. After getting married and relocating to Harrisburg I worked at the Susquehanna Art Museum and then a year teaching High School. After having kids I taught privately at home for 11 years and opened up my studio in 2015.

I offer art classes in 3 age groups: pre-school/K, Grades 1-4, Grades 5-adult. We use a variety of materials and learn drawing, sculpture, art history and much more.

About the lesson

All types! I am happy to accommodate special needs. We have had a service dog attend classes successfully. I enjoy all age ranges and abilities.

i started filming short art lessons parents can do with their kids at home. I air the videos on my Facebook page "Maureen Marks Art". Each week I have a student do a lesson with me on the video and we are having a blast together!

A session of 6 classes is $75 (pre-school/K), $85 (gr 1-4), $95 (gr 5-adult)
