I am a 53 year old retired attorney. In my spare time I like to be creative and paint, sculpt and air brush. I would consider myself an intermediate artist and I wanted to take my skills to the next level. I started taking lessons with Stacey and immediately felt comfortable with her teaching style. She opened my eyes up to many techniques that I was unaware of, including some which were unconventional. With Stacey's guidance, I saw my art develop and grow in areas I never thought possible. Stacey helped me to look at light and perspective in a whole new way. I highly recommend Stacey to anyone, at any level!

I love the safe space that Stacey so effortlessly provides. I had a very real fear of painting when I first started working with Stacey. I didn’t acknowledge it as such, instead I told myself I was not good enough to even try. I attended one of her Wine and Paint Nights to support my dear friend, but with the sole intention of getting buzzed and watching other people paint.
Her gentle and supportive encouragement to “just put some paint on canvas” was exactly what I needed to let go of my own limiting beliefs and embrace my inner creative. What a talent and gift she has! It’s natural for her and her authenticity allows you to leave your limited self at the door and embrace your truest, best self while learning how to paint artworks you’re actually proud to display!
Stacey often refers to her sessions as Color Therapy and that’s truly what they are for me. I have learned more about myself working with her than any other form of therapy I’ve tried. She may claim it’s “just putting paint on canvas” but the reality is you discover that you are capable, you see yourself set and achieve goals, she pushes you to try things you’ve never even heard of, and throws all rules OUT the window to allow you to simply discover. EVEN in a group setting like that wine and paint night - she has this sneaky way of speaking directly to YOU. Everyone in that first paint night (with me) created something of which they were proud. They all hung them in their homes and sent photos as proof! Now how often does THAT happen? Most of those girls were like me - either there with or for a friend for “funzies” and/or completely inexperienced. We all walked away with a piece unique to us, admittedly the same scene, but Stacey managed to guide us in such a way that even our colors were individual. She’s magical!

Stacey is passionate about art and her enthusiasm makes her an extraordinary teacher. She is patient and takes the time to help your inner artist come to light. Highly recommend everyone work with her.

Going into a new school not knowing anybody it was very hard for me. I was going through a very hard time with my family and old friends. When I first started Stacys art class i was very amazed on how welcoming she was. Ever since my first day stacy has tough me more then i could have ever imagine from Bob Ross techniques to one stroke angle brush painting. Stacy is one of a kind and an outstanding teacher. Anyone would be luck as hell to have her as their teacher or friend.

She is fun, understanding, and very skilled in the arts. It was my favorite class because she didn’t have a structure of class levels or specific projects; she helps you find a fun new technique that you’re interested in while making it stress free and entertaining.

She encourages me to be creative and allows me to use my imagination without having to follow super strict guidelines. She also has many supplies available for all sorts of artwork.
