About Jade
I want my students to experience a motivating, yet relaxed class environment where you can express yourself freely and ask questions. My classes provide a wide range of instructional art lessons based on your needs/interest such as: Drawing, Painting, Jewelry making, and Sculpting.
I've been teaching art classes for 7 years at organizations and schools that provide art enrichment programs. I fell in love with art teaching when I realized that art makes a positive impact on people's lives including my own. As a practicing artist and being able to sell my work and teach I've been able to develop wonderful connections and inspire others to pursue the arts.
Started as an assistant teacher during senior year in high school and continued to pursue a teaching artist career since 2014 to present.
I am a practicing visual artist with 6 years of training in fine arts. Graduated from Lower Manhattan Arts Academy majoring in visual arts. Studied traditional drawing and painting in college.

I work with all levels and ages on what skills can be improved. Together we will work on projects that will further improve your artistic abilities and knowledge. I look forward to knowing your interest and what art topics/concepts you want to explore.
I have worked with all ages from 3 to 40 years of age at all levels.
If you really want to learn art techniques that will improve your skills yet you don't want to have a boring experience let the teacher know what you are looking to gain out of a class and your specific interest.
No matter if you are a long time student of mine or have taken one class of mine every students learns something new on how they can improve their art skills. My long term students improve so quickly and begin to see art as away to express themselves. This brings me joy and makes me want to continue teaching.
