About Hannah
I love finding ways to break down my creative process to make them accessible to anyone interested in learning my craft. My mission is to create exciting and inclusive lessons that make art fun and fulfilling for everyone!
My first teaching jobs were as a horseback riding instructor, something I've been doing since I was 17 years old. After graduating from university I spent several years abroad where I continued to teach riding lessons, but also loved to incorporate art into my classes wherever I could. When I moved back to the US, I began teaching after school art inrichmebt classes which were greatly helped my my previous experiences as a teacher (even in another field). I still teach art inrichment, and have my own online classes as well.
B.A in Studio Art from Pacific University

Understanding the students goals and interests to better tailor lessons to their needs and desires.
Most of the art I have taught has been to school age children, but I've also been diving into adult classes more recently. I am equally excited to work with populations of all ages and pride myself on my abilities to provide age appropriate instruction at any level.

I took a painting lesson and had a very encouraging and positive experience!
My husband and I took an on-line painting lesson from Hannah. As beginners, we were very impressed with the thought she put into designing the exercise, and her patience with us as beginners. We also had a lot of fun in the process!
