About Anette
I work with each student on their personal comfort level, whether in a group setting or during individual art lessons. To understand who I am, what I do, and how I work, please visit my website @ (concealed information)
I received my formal art/photography training from the art institute of Freiburg, Germany and graduated with a degree in 1971. Furthermore, I have undergone extensive studies in fiber, weaving, collage, pottery and papermaking. Often, those items are incorporated into my work.
Art is my passion, my life. Without art, humanity could not thrive. Working in my studio brings me joy and peace. Helping someone to develop and foster their artistic abilities and seeing that student to grow is very rewarding. It is known that art helps develop both hemispheres of the brain and students excell in humanities much faster than those who are not exposed to any artform.

Once you decide to start art lessons with me in my studio, we together plan on what you want to paint, how large the canvas should be, and on the colors and brushes you would like to use. You will find my studio to be very comfortable and inviting. My philosophy is: "There's nobody who cannot paint, one only has to try". Whether you choose to create an abstract piece or feel more apt to paint a realistic theme, I will guide you through each step and process of your painting.
