About Heather
I've just opened a little shop in Warrensburg, Missouri that is meant to cater to the whole artist. I stock supplies, books, and equipment for sale, but I also have a scrapbooking corner which we use as a classroom area for all sorts of artsy lessons. I can teach students one-on-one or in small groups and if it's a subject new to me then I've started a network of fellow artists who can accommodate. Best of all we can brew some coffee and snack while we work!
I enjoy art more than I can express. I just love getting lost in a project and learning to do things I couldn't do previously. One of my favorite ways to learn is by teaching what I've learned to others. It's amazing the level of understanding you can accomplish in the course of explaining it to another. I see myself as a lifetime student, but there's so much I've learned in the last decade that I can't wait to share with my students!
