About Katie
I create customized drum lessons for each and every student who studies with me. Lessons are fun, engaging and always exciting!
I love sharing the joy and passion I have for music and drums with my students. I enjoy watching each student I teach blossom into well rounded and successful musicians.
I have been a professional musician for over 20 years and have been teaching privately for 15 years. I went to school for music performance and I've been touring the country with various Broadway shows for the last 7 years. Before the pandemic started I was touring with Hamilton: An American Musical.

During our first session, I evaluate what extent of music knowledge you already have or I test to see how quickly you pick up on basic drum patterns. Once evaluated, I create a custom lesson plan based off of your goals and experience level!
