About Umar
I love giving space for my students to recognize the elevation of their development as drummers and musicians. Not only do my students grow in being stellar beat and rhythm makers, but thorough musicians
I'm a Berklee College of Music alum, I've been a drummer for 32 years and a musician for 40 years. My initial training was in voice and piano, which helped when I started my percussion training and gives me a well rounded expertise and experience in music and percussion
