About Colby

I am an accomplished, young aerospace engineer. I am a published author in peer-reviewed venues and have worked on a breadth of cutting-edge research and projects for high-quality organizations like NASA, Boeing, and Rolls-Royce.

I have my Bachelor of Science (with honors) and Master of Science (with honors) in aerospace engineering, and I am currently a PhD candidate at an elite, renowned technical institution in the United States.

I am a life-long learner with a passion for tutoring, mentoring, and coaching anyone who has a positive attitude and a desire to learn. I specialize in data-driven fields like mathematics and engineering, but I am capable and qualified to support a breadth of areas - we can make it work for you!

I love tutoring, mentoring, and coaching because enabling others to be better, achieve more, and accomplish their goals is the most fulfilling virtue of life. I firmly believe that we are nothing if not for the people in our lives and the people we influence. It is my duty to use my knowledge, skills, and talents to help others, and I take that duty seriously!

I have a Bachelor of Science (with Honors) and a Master of Science (with Honors) in Aerospace Engineering from top technical institutions in the United States. I am currently a PhD candidate in Aerospace Engineering, with many years of learning inside and outside of the classroom. A significant part of my education has coupled learning and teaching others. I am an active mentor for young students in high school, college, and graduate school. My breadth of knowledge in engineering, science, and mathematics and my ability to learn challenging topics allows me to effectively teach others.

About the lesson

I like to get to know the student to understand their personality, attitude, and approach to the work the student is doing. Knowing the person allows me to personally customize my approach to tutoring to maximize the effect and positive outcome of the engagement. It is not often that two students need identical guidance and focus-adjustment for improving their work, so honest communication between the student and myself will enable the most value of our sessions!
