About Jourdan

Hello😁👋🏿

My name is Jourdan and i'm currently a junior at UWG Tanner Health System School of Nursing. I'm eager to learn and to help other students be more confident in their studies. I know school can be overwhelming at times but hopefully we can over come that by learning from each other!

I've always enjoyed helping others and being a student tutor felt like second nature to me. I enjoy helping others reach their academic goals and become more knowledgeable on material.

I'm currently a junior at UWG majoring in Nursing. I am confident that I have experience as a college student teaching and giving guidance to other students. I've tutored in the past in high school and some classmates since I've been attending college.

About the lesson

I like to get to know the student's goal. Are they trying to understand a topic for a test, or are they trying to understand an entire subject? Knowing this helps me determine what I need to focus on and what questions are important to ask.

I have worked with high school students and college students. Students have asked me to help understand the material in science-based classes and provide a good foundation for term papers.

I would tell students looking to hire a tutor to find someone who understands their goals and prioritizes meeting them.
