About Chrisana
I help students practice English speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. I do this through a variety of activities with words, phrases, and sentences. These activities are fun and engaging and it will seem like we are playing a game but you will be amazed by how much you will learn and how your skills will improve!
Tailoring lessons to meet the student's needs and after practicing seeing the progress made in students English language skills. Teaching and Learning are on a continuous progression, so the student and the teacher are learning and teaching each other. In the 5 years I have tutored, I have tutored 100 students 100 minutes per week during the school year. I have helped students improve their reading skills going from learning to read to reading to learn. It is having a part in this process that keeps me excited about the work that I do!

First face to face meeting at a Library (perferred) or other. For initial ice breakers and rapport. Needs assessment, promptness, and puctuality.
Establish a workable routine 1 to 3 days per week for 30 to 45 minute session.
Based on first meeting, tailor sessions to meet English Lanuage learning goals. Each lesson works on Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Listening skills. Family engagement homework to practice English at home between sessions.

Details
One 30 to 45 minute session is $15.00 if I need to travel mileage is calculated .54 per mile for round trip mileage from my home. I will travel in a 30 mile radius throughout the metro Twin Cities, MN.
