About Hailee
English is a huge passion of mine. I am minoring in English at South Dakota State University while receiving my degree in Education. I love to teach people, and English/ELA is one of my favorite subjects to teach people about.
I received a 35 on the English portion of the ACT and a 31 on the Reading portion, so it is something I pride myself in. However, I really like it the best when I can share it with others and help them. Throughout school, I have helped people prepare for times tests, edited essays, and so much more.
I may not be ceritified or professionally qualified, but I can connect with students better than anyone and help them with learning the ways of English.
I chose to major in Education because it is a part of my family. Plus, I have been positively affected by so many teachers in my life, so I wanted to help as many students as possible.
Graduated high school from West Central in 2018.
Received a 35 in English and a 31 in Reading on the ACT.
Majoring in Education and minoring in English at SDSU currently.

I think getting to know the student is really important. Once you know their passions and strengths, it can become easier to understand what makes them tick.
I have helped in a Pre-Algebra classroom, Senior English classroom, and a first grade classroom. There were lots of different students in each classroom, and I learned that each student is unique and has their specific needs academically.
