About Madeline
I am a rising senior in college receiving a BS in Anthropology, Certificate in Women's Studies, and a minor in Arts Leadership. As a current student myself, I am constantly working on and developing my skills and I understand the current academic climate so that I will be able to draw from my own expereinces, which I can use to best help your student.
I am in the process of receiveing a BS in Anthropology, Certificate of Women's Studies, and minor in Arts Leaderhsip from the University of Maryland, College Park. I have worked with children ages 5-14 as a camp counselor for 6 years and nannied for 3 years. As someone with a learning disability myself, I feel comfortable working with students of variying ability. I have developed skillsets unique to someone with this particular challenge and understand that all students require differing methods of learning to best thrive.

I usually get to know my students and what their academic goals are for our sessions. I will then review the work they have been assigned or are working on. Once sessions have begun, I have tip sheets to give to students so that they can have a copy of the methods I teach and begin to utilize the skills they learn with me on their own.
