About Salene

I have taught English and ESL online since December of 2014. I first tutored ESL to two high school students, with a concentration in reading comprehension, volcabulary, and grammar strategies. After tutoring the high school students in 2014, I taught students K-12th, college, and adults basic to advance reading, writing, and daily conversations for learning English grammar and language. I enjoying helping students capture the aspects of writing poems, prose, and essays. I have an Associate degree in English 2002, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration 2013.

I enjoy seeing students that I tutor increase their zeal to learn more English, grammar skills, and how students that are taught ESL are excited about how they develop quickly English daily conversations, and how to prounounce words correctly.

Since I enjoyed writing essays, poems, prose, and research papers, I decided to help students learn how to enjoy and create polished documents.

I recieved my Associates degree in English in 2002, with a concentration in writing, Literature, prose, poetry, and Reading.

I have also tutored foreign students ESL since 2014 on online tutoring platforms. My training for tutoring ESL was to learn different types of teaching software.

About the lesson

I usually introduce myself to the student on an online tutoring platform. I allow the new student to tell me what they are familiar with based on the subject, and tell me some of their strong and weak areas. I take note of their feedback, and then proceed with how I can help them excel in increasing their English and ESL skills.

I have worked with students ages 6 to 46 years of age, school grade levels K-12th, college students, and individual adults.

The student can make sure that a tutor in the English or ESL field have patience, bring an excited and creative lesson plan to the class, and make sure that the tutor has a positive attitude.

I worked with a group of high school students online in the ESL field. Each students were from intermediate to advanced levels. The class was started with the previous day homework, with closing remarks and questions of volcabulary or familiar converstations. Students were excited about discovering new ways of adding more volcabulary words or idioms to their converstations.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Decide what the student needs to work on with their education strengths and weaknesses. What are their specific subject level-are they on a basic, intermediate, or advanced level?
