Your personal writing consultant, Guadalupe Rahm, holds a Master's Degree in English from California State University, Stanislaus and has worked extensively as a teacher and university lecturer in the US and the Caribbean for 30 years. She has served extensively in the areas of testing and admissions and as a freelance social researcher and academic expert conducting contracted studies for PAHO, UNICEF and various government agencies and NGOs. For the past 10 years she has been engaged teaching intensive distance courses that prepare students for success on their university entrance exam essays and statements of purpose. The secret to her success is simple; she knows what universities want and she believes in her clients. Every job, no matter how large or small is her most important job ever.
Besides holding an MA in English and working 30 years in the classroom, I have served on university admissions boards, directed the development and implementation of a nation wide university entrance exam, taught on line admission essay courses and counseled hundreds of students looking to gain university admission or matriculate to advanced programs.
