About Albertine

I have a passion for lifelong learning and my commitment to student enjoyment and success is what drives my role as a tutor and mentor. With students in a range of ages and subjects, I have an adaptive teaching method that engages students and facilitates growth in the working subject but can also serve as a template for further learning experiences. With regard to standardized testing, I emphasize test-taking strategies along with strengthening skills in math sections. Ultimately, through practice exams and drills these skills are honed and prepared for maximum success on the exam.

I enjoy fostering a positive and relentless attitude toward goal-setting and achieving. I love adapting to a student's learning style and engaging with children who love to learn!

I have experience with a large group of students in a range of ages and subjects. I am a Neuroscience student and I love to adapt the psychology of learning principles to working with my students.

About the lesson

Depending on the student's age and experience in the working subject, we discuss goals and learning styles. Then, we adapt the curriculum to fit these needs. There is always room for adaptation and open communication helps to nurture an amazing learning environment.
