About Emily
I am a certified English teacher and have my M.S. in Curriculum. I have worked with students of all ages on a variety of subjects, but specialize in reading comprehension and writing. I have worked as a private au pair in Paris where I tutored four children ages 9-15 in all subjects and in an early childhood center managing the activities and care of infants, aged six weeks to 18 months.
I strive to make learning engaging and fun for my students.

I like to get to know my students on a personal level and see their past work to gauge their understanding of the subject matter. Watching my students write and work through problems independently helps me understand their comprehension and what specifically they need to work on.
